Scott Bruhn, Executive Chef Iowa State Returns to his Alma Mater

JDRQUEST undertook a regional search to find the perfect candidate to oversees Iowa State’s residential dining centers, cafes, convenience stores, food court, restaurants, catering department, commissary kitchen, bakery and food stores. From the onset of the search, the Director the University was very interested in a candidate with high volume hotel experience and a creative leader who could elevate the level of cuisine and implement new creative culinary offerings to an ever-growing diverse student population. Dedicated to providing a variety of quality and sustainable culinary experiences, ISU Dining’s program also seeks to enhance the educational and cultural aspects of Iowa State University. Bruhn believes that “success comes from hearing from our students and listening to what their needs are. We tend to make all of our choices with the influence of the student body in mind.”
