Following a nation-wide search, Smitha Haneef, an award-winning food service and hospitality leader, is selected as Princeton University’s executive director of campus dining. Our successful placement at Princeton University relied on identifying candidates who were a good “cultural’ fit while also having strong management experience in university dining and food-service. A collaborative and flexible working style was key – he/she would need to partner with a multitude of faculty and departments within the university to balance all of their specific requirements.  The candidates also needed to be actively engaged in sustainability programs, current food trends, and cognizant of an ever growing population of ethnically diverse students. On all points, Smitha was the ideal fit. Vice President of University Services Chad Klaus affirms: “She brings an exiting and fresh perspective on providing inspired offerings to our diverse campus population, as well as building on the partnerships with residential colleges and campus retail and catering clients. Smitha also has impressive experience with professional development and mentorship programs for staff that I believe will serve our team well at Princeton.”
